Mr. Rajev Shukla is Vice President of Global Strategy & Business Development for Unilever's Skin Care business, working closely with the EVP Skin Care and responsible for leading development of Global Strategy and translation of the same into actionable geography, brand portfolio & capability roadmaps to deliver category ambition. Previously serving as Global Brand Vice President, he was responsible for managing the Global franchise for Unilever’s market leading Face Care equity, Pond’s. He was directly responsible for defining & delivering brand strategy, positioning, architecture, innovation portfolio and communications with global scope to grow the business profitably while growing the brand. Mr. Shukla is a member of Unilever Global Skin Care Category Leadership Team & is the nominated Unilever Director at Iluminage Inc., a Manhattan based Unilever Ventures Company. Immediately prior to this role, Mr. Shukla was responsible for leading Unilever’s Skin Cleansing & Care business in South East Asia, Australia & New Zealand. Before this he was responsible for transforming Lifebuoy from a declining local jewel to a Globally Competitive Hygiene & Health Equity that today plays a central role in Unilever’s Hygiene Agenda in markets across Asia, Africa, Middle East & Latin America. In prior roles based in India, Mr. Shukla has turned around Unilever’s market leading Skin Care equity & has been responsible for conceptualizing & executing from scratch a new business system to engage and service organized retail trade in India. Mr. Shukla joined Unilever in 1993, with a Masters in Business Administration from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C). He also has an Bachelors Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Varanasi (IIT-Varanasi). Mr. Shukla is from India. He is married to Radhika and has two daughters.
