Global Head - Strategic Marketing
Shatrughan Singh is currently leading Strategy and Marketing for Strategic Alliances at Wipro. He is responsible for providing counsel and guidance to Strategic Alliances teams to develop and execute Go to Market strategy on a worldwide basis in line with Wipro’s IT business strategy and global marketing and communication plan. Prior to this role he was the Global head of Marketing for Media and Telecom Strategic Business Unit of Wipro (1 Bn dollar plus in revenue). His responsibilities included Go to Market Strategy, Brand Differentiation, Solution marketing, Analyst & Influencer Relations, Thought leadership, Digital Marketing, Account Based Marketing, Market Development & Demand Generation. He has also handled the responsibility of driving marketing Strategy for Technology SBU before it got merged with the Manufacturing SBU in Wipro. Shatrughan joined Wipro in 2006 and his 8 years of experience spans across the entire TMT (Technology Media and Telecom) Industry. He is one of the key members to define “Winning in a Digital World” positioning for Wipro. He has a proven ability to define go to market strategy in line with the business strategy, driving new initiatives, manage teams and deliver measurable business impact. Prior to joining Wipro he was working as Territory Manager Sales-Enterprise solutions, Northern Region with Aircel a leading Telecom Service provider in India. He was responsible for building strong relationships with corporate customers, front-end Sales and Demand generation. Shatrughan has completed his MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune specializing in Telecom & IT and he also holds a B. E degree in Electronics and Communication from CRSCE Murthal, Haryana. He is based in Bangalore and his hobbies include playing outdoor sports and meeting new people from diverse fields.
