Chris CG Tan is IBM Global Financing's Head of Marketing & Strategy for Growth Markets. With over $36 billion in assets and operations in more than 55 countries, IBM Global Financing (IGF) is the world's leading provider of multi-vendor IT financing solutions. Based in Singapore, Chris leads a team of marketing professionals across the Growth Markets, comprising of 8 regions spanning Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East/Africa and Latin America. In this role, Chris is responsible for market segment planning, offerings development, channels marketing, communications and demand generation for IGF. Prior to his current appointment, Chris spent nearly 4 years in IBM Singapore leading, Marketing, Communications and Strategy for the country operations. In his career spanning over two decades in IBM, Chris has held numerous roles in Sales, Channels, Solutions, Marketing and Operations in the Small & Medium Business, dotcom, Travel & Transportation, Distribution, Education business segments at country, ASEAN and Asia Pacific levels.
