Cheryl is part of the early founding team at Grab. Starting in Kuala Lumpur as a one-man marketing team, she has set up the marketing practise across Southeast Asia for Grab over the last 7 years. Today, she leads marketing in over 350 cities in eight countries, covering all of Grab's business verticals including transport, food, payments and logistics. She oversees Grab's marketing efforts across the region, leading a team of over 500 marketers across Southeast Asia. In her role, she shapes the strategy behind the company's brand and reputation, as well as leads teams across the end-to-end sphere of marekting, covering demand growth, advertising and promotions, branding, social and marketing research and insights. Additionally, she leads social impact at Grab and believes in building inclusive capitalism to solve problems of poverty and climate change. Recognised as a thought leader in the tech, marketing and start-up space, Cheryl has been invited to speak at various technology, start-up and marketing conferences and forums.
