As Chief Marketing Officer for Deloitte, Annabel Rake is charged with overseeing go to market strategy across the firm. Whether it’s Corporate Brand or CXO Communities, Industries or Private Markets, Annabel provides direction to a wide range of activity – from sponsorships to targeted client relationship development. No stranger to challenge, one of Annabel’s key achievements involved responsibility for the largest sponsorship programme ever undertaken by Deloitte. As London 2012 Sponsorship Director, she ensured that the Games provided differentiated positioning for Deloitte amongst its clients, targets and its 13,000 people. Annabel is a passionate supporter of learning and development activity, so outside of her marketing day job, she is often found working with new talent or chairing the Career Development Board for Deloitte’s ‘Internal Client Services’ function. Annabel also sits on the European Advisory Board of the CMO Council, and the Executive Council of the Business Marketing Collective. Prior to Deloitte Annabel gained both professional services and FMCG sector experience working for brands such as The Chartered Institute of Marketing, PA Consulting Group and Nestlé.
