Eyad Al-Hosain is the Deputy General Manager of Marketing and Sales Affairs at the Tri United Food Company, an FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) distribution company founded in 2007 in Syria. Tri United Food Company has become a major importer and distributor, supplying high quality food items and general merchandize to the retail and wholesale outlets in Syria. Among the many products the company imports, it holds the sole distributorship for renowned brands such as “Aseel” of Dubai, “Mumtaz” of Dubai, “Unikai” from Dubai ,“Junet” from Lebanon, “Ali Café’’ from Malaysia, and “National Sugar” of Syria. As Deputy GM, Eyad provides consulting to the General Manager in planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations. His responsibilities also include developing and implementing sales strategies for new products, incorporating a strategy that targets different prospect types that will allow the company to tap into new markets. Prior to this role, Eyad was the Chief Marketing Officer at Syrian Industrial Chemical Company LTD. (SICCO), a major company in Syria specializing in detergents and related raw materials. Eyad joined SICCO as the CMO in 2004 and was responsible for the planning and execution of strategic marketing plans and the portfolio development of SICCO's brands, including Super White and Prince. He brings over ten years of experience in the Syrian markets to the board and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Damascus University in his native country of Syria.
