Laura Ashton’s career spans over 30 years of Board-level, global and regional executive leadership and entrepreneurial experience of strategy, marketing, key clients, sustainable development and digital transformation. Laura has held Global and Asia Pacific marketing leadership roles with Shell, Electrolux and Philips. Over the past decade, Laura has focused her strategy, marketing and partnership development skills on the professional services sector with AP/Global roles in high-end consulting, law and tax. Laura has a background in consumer packaged goods from her home country, Canada, with brand management and sales roles in Johnson & Johnson and Kraft Foods. She worked in advertising and direct marketing, based in Thailand, for 7 years with Saatchis, Chuo Senko as well as her own marketing consulting business. Her portfolio career today includes running her own legal marketing services business, Xunama. She is a co-founding partner of global sustainable development consultancy, Low Carbon Advisors. She serves as the Asia Pacific CMO for WTS Global, a major tax advisory firm. Laura is Chair of the Advisory Board of digital e-learning and leadership development firm Capability Group. She previously served on the Board of Director of ASX-listed digital services firm APD where she was also Chair of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee. Laura, her husband and their cats are long-term residents of Singapore. She has been a member of the CMO Council in Asia Pacific since 2009.
