Shehzad is the Head of Global Client Services: Marketing, Communications & Brand at QNB Group. His experience spans global consumer and business based organizations on global issues of strategic marketing, communications, brand and digital transformation in various sectors including financial services, FMCG, food and beverage, ride-sharing startup, fashion/luxury, financial inclusion and media across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Southeast Asia. His day to day work includes strategic engagements with senior leadership teams across a network of over 30 countries to help grow/revive the brand, streamline product innovation efforts, enter new segments/markets, improve marketing and communication effectiveness, and leading the marketing planning across the group. He has previously held senior roles at Barclays and Citi across various positions in Marketing, Corporate Communications, Product Management, Asset & Wealth Management, and Retail & Corporate Banking in the Middle East and Asia. Before moving to the financial services industry, Shehzad has worked at Interpublic Group (IPG) as Group Account Director on brands from Unilever, Danone, Johnson & Johnson, American Express, JP Morgan, and MSG. Shehzad is an MBA (Marketing), holds a post-graduate diploma in digital marketing from Wharton, Social Marketing specialization from Northwestern University, Fintech specialization from the University of Michigan, and Blockchain in Financial Services specialization from INSEAD.
