Mark is widely known for helping global organizations make very successful connections between the way they communicate and their business objectives, particularly top-line growth and op income expansion. Recognized across the globe for his perceptive and pragmatic approach to business strategy and operations, Mark combines a strong personal leadership style with a finely drawn sense of what it takes to make a real business contribution. He is presently a member of the senior leadership team at Honeywell Aerospace, an $11 billion company serving the commercial and defense sectors. The company is part of Honeywell International, a Fortune 100 diversified corporation. Before coming to Honeywell, Mark was a senior executive at Hewlett-Packard and BMC Software. At those companies, he led large worldwide teams in various global business units, ranging from $2 billion to $45 billion in annual sales. A senior leader at Compaq operating in the Americas, Europe and Asia, he joined HP as a result of the merger of the two companies in 2002. Earlier in his career, Mark worked in various leadership positions in major agencies and companies, always with responsibilities in Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. Mark holds an undergraduate degree in political science and journalism, as well as a graduate degree in international relations, both from Baylor University. He is a sought-after speaker and lecturer, both inside the United States and in many other countries. Mark has been a member, conference participant or presenter for many organizations around the world, including the World Economic Forum, National Investor Relations Institute, The Navy League of the United States, The CMO Council, Communications Executive Council, and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). He serves as a board member of Living Water International, the largest charitable NGO focused on global water issues.
