Celestine Tan is the vice president of regional field marketing for Asia Pacific and Japan. In her role, she is responsible for all aspects of marketing, from strategy development, demand generation, go-to-market plans and programs, partner marketing, market intelligence, online marketing, telemarketing, branding and advertising to event management. Under Celestine's leadership, the Asia Pacific and Japan marketing team aligns with the business goals of the region to drive the implementation of integrated programs to increase the market awareness of CA Technologies solutions and generate qualified leads to support the revenue targets. Celestine has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology industry. She has worked globally in Europe and the Americas, and also extensively across the Asia Pacific and Japan region, including Australia, the ASEAN countries, China, India, Japan, Korea and New Zealand. Prior to joining CA Technologies, she was the vice president of marketing for the global software unit with Sun Microsystems. Over her 16 years’ career at Sun, Celestine held various senior marketing positions, including vice president of marketing for Asia Pacific and director of marketing for Asia South. A veteran who has been recognized throughout her career, Celestine received the coveted Marketing Leadership Award from Sun Microsystems and was a graduate of the Sun Leadership Institute. Celestine was previously the head of corporate communications for Asia Pacific at Compaq Computers. Celestine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from the De La Salle University in the Philippines. She is married with a son.
