Mr. Sachdev Ramakrishna has a rich and variegated professional experience, spanning two decades across a spectrum of industry sectors. His first stint straight out of college was with the engineering major, Larsen & Toubro Limited, Bombay, wherein, as a commissioning engineer, he started up cement factories, totaling about 8 million tons of annualized capacity in collaboration with FL Smidth A/S of Denmark. He moved to A.F. Ferguson & Co. (now Deloitte), India’s largest management consulting firm, where he progressed to being an Engagement partner, advising several MNCs and Indian business houses in the areas of business and marketing strategy. He then joined Piramal Enterprises, where as VP-Strategy, he led the Ajay Piramal-owned group into sunrise sectors such as Retailing.  He was also part of a start-up team to build what was then India’s largest 'shoppertainment' complex, Crossroads in Mumbai. Today at Steria India, Sachdev drives the overall marketing strategy, and stands instrumental in building both the Steria brand as well as business leveraging India capabilities. Headquartered in Paris, Steria is a European IT Services provider serving a large number of prestigious clients both in the public and private sectors for well over 40 years. Under Sachdev's leadership, Steria embarked on a strategic marketing approach that focused on building its brand using public relations and through establishing key relationships with influencers and analyst firms.  Steria today has key relationships with premium trade bodies such as Nasscom, FICCI and CII.  Sachdev was also instrumental in getting Steria accepted at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland.  He has also strategically established the Steria Retail Centre of Excellence, an innovation centre focused on creating solutions for the Retail industy.
