Vivek leads Value Creation for members of the National Trades Union Congress. He heads Policy & Turf, Market Development, Sales & Operations, Product Development, Member Insights & Value Proposition, CRM & Retention, Brand & Communications, and Service Quality teams. He is also responsible for crafting & managing strategic partnerships with CEOs/boards. With its 12 Social Enterprises in sectors as diverse as Supermarkets, Professional Development, Clubs, Healthcare, and Insurance, NTUC serves over 600,000 members across their Work, Live and Play needs, every day. In his previous role, Vivek headed Shell Retail Marketing for Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong & Brunei. Under his leadership, Shell Malaysia won the Golden Dragon Award for Asia's Most Innovative Marketing Campaign in 2010, and achieved it's highest fuels volume ever. In addition, Vivek was leader of Project Achtung, a multi-function team in Shell Downstream to create enterprise-wide efficiency. Project Achtung won Shell Global Enterprise First Award in 2010. Earlier, he headed Shell's Brand & CVP teams across Asia-Pacific and led successful roll-out of new Shell products & award-winning marketing initiatives in many countries in the East. Vivek's experience in Marketing/Business Management spans across brands from P&G, J&J, Nestle, LG Electronics, 20th Century Fox, AT&T Wireless, OCBC Bank, etc. He has appeared in “Asia’s Top Brand Builders” special issue of Media Magazine. Vivek is an Advisory Board Member of Chief Marketing Officers Council, and Global Loyalty Leaders Council. He is also a guest faculty on Marketing/Business Management at MICA and Symbiosis B-schools in India, at University of Malaysia B-School at Sabah, and at Shell Open University’s Lensbury Global Centre in London. Vivek stays in Singapore with his wife and daughter. He loves reading books, meditation, and understanding diverse cultures & governance in his leisure time.
