Ferry Kamp is an experienced CMO and Transforation & Innovation Leader with 20 years international experience at Unilever. A marketing disruptor who drives change in organisations with relentless focus on the customer and driving business growth to the next level through innovation-, organization- & digital transformation. He believes business should be a force for good.
Ferry joined Unilever in 1998 to run the first E-commerce pilot with nearly 3000 households in the Netherlands. Since then he worked in various local and international marketing roles in the Netherlands, Germany, Singapore and Australia, responsible for strategy, innovation and marketing plans for nearly all of Unilever’s foods & tea brands.
From 2007 – 2009 he was part of Unilever’s European foods leadership team in Hamburg as Regional Brand Director Foods Europe, where he successfully led the transformation of Unilever’s biggest brand; Knorr, winning the global Compass Award for best sustainability program.
End 2009 Ferry moved to Australia as member of Unilever’s Foods & Tea Leadership teams for Asia Pacific. As Regional Brand Director Foods & Tea APAC he was responsible for the turn-around of the foods & tea business in Australia & New Zealand.
In 2014 Ferry joined Unilever’s Food Service Division as board member for Germany, Austria & Switzerland in charge of transforming the marketing organization & business strategy, which helped to bring the business back to growth. One year later he took over as Head of Marketing & Digital Transformation for Unilever Food Solutions BeNeLux & France where he played a leading role in turning around the long term declining business in France and accelerating growth in Belgium and the Netherlands by developing a new business strategy, moving to a customer centric and truly agile organisation with self-steering teams breaking down the functional silos and getting everyone to work along integrated customer journeys with digital at the heart of it.
Summer 2018 Ferry left Unilever to join Start-up Bootcamp / Innoleaps – one of the biggest global innovation eco-systems helping both start-ups and corporate innovations accelerate. As Vice President Innovation & Strategic Partnerships he supports C-level management of Fortune 500 companies with their innovation strategy & portfolio, innovation & acceleration and transformation programs to create a modern company with a new innovation mindset.
