Bill Beck

Chief Marketing Officer


Prior to serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Anthem, Beck served as Senior Director for Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana Brands and Shopper Marketing. He re-launched the Maytag and Whirlpool brands with consumer-centric campaigns and winning products, including the repositioning of the Maytag Man for Maytag and the launch of the “Every day, Care” campaign for Whirlpool. His work on Maytag and Whirlpool received two Gold Effie advertising awards in 2015 and 2016. Beck served as Marketing Director for the Maytag brand from September 2010 to September 2011. Before joining Whirlpool, he worked for Pepperidge Farm, a subsidiary of the Campbell Soup Company, in various marketing and sales positions across the snacks portfolio. 
Beck earned his MBA from the Stern Business School at New York University and his undergraduate degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
