Sal Abbate is Senior Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Andersen Corporation, where he is responsible for all customer-facing facets of the organization, including sales, marketing, customer experience, order management and field service. Abbate joined Andersen in 2011.

 

Prior to joining Andersen, he was the General Manager of the North American window film business for Solutia Inc. before being promoted to Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. Abbate also spent 16 years with Armstrong World Industries in a variety of functions, including engineering, plant management, sales and marketing. He championed the introduction of the Six Sigma methodology at Armstrong and earned Master Black Belt status.

Abbate earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Georgia Tech and his MBA in marketing and strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
