He has over 20 years of experience in FMCG and Telecommunication industries in six countries, holding a variety of senior management positions. Previously serving as the corporation’s CMO, Mr.Willsher oversaw Etisalat's strategy in addressing customer needs as per their defined segments; in terms of product & services offering, business planning and channel management. Prior to joining Etisalat in March 2011, he was the Chief Marketing Officer at Maxis Berhad in Malaysia. Before that, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at HK CSL in Hong Kong. Llew Claasen is the Managing Partner at Newtown Partners, an angel investment and venture capital firm based in Cape Town, South Africa with a focus on making early stage investments, typically series seed, in internet, mobile and e-commerce startups. He is currently the acting CMO for four venture funded companies in South Africa and the United States and is also the Co-founder of Clicks2customers, SynthaSite and TrafficSynergy. Llew was previously the VP Marketing at Clickatell.com, a mobile network aggregator covering over 750 mobile networks in more than 220 countries. At Clickatell, he was responsible for positioning the company as the leading global provider of Mobile Messaging services to a variety of B2B segments and communities. He was also responsible for the strategic direction of Clickatell's Online business, as well as the company’s overall Online Marketing, web sales channel and product functions. The Online business unit's area of focus includes the key global Mobile Marketer customer segment, amongst others. Evan has spent the greater part of nearly 20 years in diverse sectors such as media, financial services and motoring, with the last 3 years in manufacturing for Saint-Gobain. With revenues of over 42.1 billion Euros’, presence in 64 countries and significant research centres, Saint-Gobain is a European or world leader in all of its activities. As marketing and communications director for Southern Africa, Ntombi Mhangwani bears responsibility for aligning country-marketing and communications with the goals and strategy of each zone. She is also tasked with creating marketing and communications plans to both fulfill business plan objectives and reach a superior level of visibility for the company’s brand, its solutions and products and a positive perception of these in the local and Southern African market. Given Schneider Electric’s global focus, Ntombi’s role includes being the bridge builder between global processes and local business priorities, integrating and implementing the global marketing process locally, through strategy, operations, solution/segment marketing, brand migration and media relations. As a charismatic team leader, Ntombi is dedicated to developing her team members to a higher level of professionalism in business acumen, productivity, management and ethical leadership by untapping the individuals’ inner potential. Ntombi is a seasoned professional, coming to Schneider Electric with 17 years of knowledge in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) marketing and communications. Lebohang Thokoane has 20 years of experience in the ICT industry and has worked for most of the leaders in the SA ICT landscape, namely IBM, MTN, Business Connexion, Dimension Data, Internet Solutions, Neotel and now her current company, T-Systems South Africa.
Lebohang’s colorful career in the ICT industry has developed, grown and matured from a personal mission to understand how the end customer benefits or is affected by the services delivered by the prestigious organizations she has worked for. Having started as a junior marketer, she was curious about how she could enable her internal customers through her role as a marketer, and this led to her occupying and gleaning insights from various roles spanning marketing, sales, bid team support and business development. All of these roles led her back full circle to her truth, marketing and communications, with a richer perspective of the role she needed to play in order to perform her role as a marketing and communications enabler.
In 2012, Thokoane started her own marketing and communications consulting services business in order to bridge the gap that she had identified—translating marketing and communications services to business leadership in a way that connected their organizations to their end customers.

Enzo Scarcella is the Chief Marketing Officer at Telkom, Africa's largest integrated communications company. He has brought a wealth of marketing experience and dynamism to his portfolio. In his previous role as Vodacom’s Managing Executive of Marketing since 2008, Enzo was responsible for launching the Player 23 campaign, complete with its unique integrated online elements which added to the campaign’s overwhelming success with South African consumers. Vodacom’s recent “We've been having it”, “The Internet is 'maklik’’ and “Fame” campaigns were also born under Scarcella’s guidance – demonstrating the power of the Internet and raking in several awards for creativity and insight into the power of consumer dialogue. Enzo is no stranger to juggling billion-figure marketing budgets and his career spans over fifteen years of prestigious accounts and brands. Before his appointment at Vodacom, Enzo worked in various Brand and Marketing positions including the television broadcasting and clothing retail industries, amongst which he fulfilled the roles of Strategy and Marketing Executive at Edcon and Marketing Director at M-Net from 2004 to 2008. During this time he not only developed a bespoke Edcon way of Marketing, but also launched an innovative TV show that has shifted brand perception amongst younger consumers. At M-Net he extended the M-Net brand into movie channels and re-positioned M-Net’s Channel O which has gone on to be a market leader within its competitive set. Jessecca Mason (previously Perumal) joined Telkom Mobile South Africa in December 2012 and leads all mobile and marketing communications for the brand. She has previously served as GM Marketing at Avis South Africa. After graduating from the University of Natal (Durban) with a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance and Business Administration) at the end of 1996, Perumal was recruited by Procter & Gamble (P&G) SA as a financial analyst on the Ace Bleach portfolio. By 1998, she was promoted to internal controls manager for P&G’s South African subsidiary. She was later promoted to senior financial analyst, providing financial support to her marketing counterparts on market leader brands such as Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Oil of Olay, Vicks and Old Spice. It was this exposure to the marketing function that spurred her interest in marketing and she accepted a position at Colgate-Palmolive to oversee and drive the launch of the Palmolive Naturals Shower Care range into the South African Market. By 2001 she was promoted to senior brand manager and given the Fabric Care Category to manage and oversee. In 2002 she was head-hunted by Absa Bank to manage and oversee the Brand Marketing Division. During her stint at Absa, the bank achieved Best Company to Work for the second year running, and Top brand within the Banking Category in the Markinor Survey. In 2004, Perumal took on the role of assistant general manager of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange Marketing Division. Parag Sen is a Senior International Management Executive and a turn-around and emerging market specialist with 15+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing & General Management across Telecom, Banking & Advertising industries. He is currently the Chief Marketing Officer for Visafone Communications, the largest CDMA operator in Africa with more than 6 million subscribers and a turnover in excess of US $500 million. Based in Lagos, Nigeria, he heads the complete marketing function for the company, leading a team of 35 sales and marketing professionals. Prior to Visafone, Parag was Marketing Director at Afghan Wireless, overseeing product and brand management, U&R, VAS and customer service functions. Here he achieved a 22% increase in revenue and saw the subscriber base grow by 35%. Parag received his MBA in Marketing and International Business from SCMS, Cochin with First Class in 1997. He also completed an Advanced Management Programme from IIM, Ahmedabad in 2002.

Gavin Cowley retired in April 2013. He was previously Marketing Director of adidas South Africa, having joined the board in 1996. A business highlight has been successfully directing operations for the adidas brand as a global partner of the recent 2010 FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa, including presenting best practice and project management to global audiences. He is, in addition, a rugby television commentator with Supersport and will continue this role. Born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa and educated at Grey High School and the University of Port Elizabeth, Gavin is a qualified teacher with a BA degree in Psychology and a diploma in Public Relations. He is also an accredited Chartered Public Relations Professional (CPRP). Gavin has a string of sporting achievements to his name. As a rugby player he was a Springbok reserve, Junior Springbok and represented Eastern Province in 88 matches, many as captain. He also played for SA Barbarians, Gazelles, SA Universities, a SA XV and a World XV. He also captained the Eastern Province cricket team, having played in 120 matches and also played cricket for SA Schools, Natal, Western Province and SA Universities. He also represented Eastern Province in field hockey. Gavin has had vast experience in public speaking and is a naturally entertaining Master of Ceremonies and keynote speaker, the synergies in business and sport being one of his favourite topics. Gavin is the author of the book “Having a Ball” and co-author of the recently published book, “Raise Your Game”.

Lawrie Golding is a Change Warrior, focused on strategic Purpose Based interventions, in the categories of Telecoms, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Customer Service Delivery and Event Management. He is passionate about connecting people, changing lives and creating possibilities. He ended a twenty-year career in the Vodacom Group at the end of June 2014. For the last six years since 2008, he served in the capacity of executive consultant, involved in the implementation of Strategy, Culture and Transformational Change across the Vodacom Group, as well as facilitation of all internal Management Orientation and Induction programs. In addition he also assisted with Values and Behavior alignment and skills based interventions, in putting the Service Profit Chain to work. His position was Head Coach. He joined Vodacom in 1995 as General Manager Marketing, Sales and Product Development, and over a period of ten years held senior positions in the Vodacom Group including Director Marketing, Managing Director National Chains and Group Executive Marketing in 2004. He has worked extensively in Africa, and was a part of the roll out team that launched Vodacom Congo, Lesotho, Tanzania and finally Vmobile Nigeria where he held the position of Chief Officer Marketing until the end of 2006. He is a Physical Education Teacher by profession and graduated from the University of Pietermaritzburg and Natal Teachers Training College in 1972. He also completed the AEP programme through the School of Business Leadership (Unisa), and holds various International Marketing Qualifications from Urwick Orr Management School London, and Chicago School of Business. Lawrie has extensive experience in the Pharmaceutical and Health Care sector, (Ciba Geigy & Johnson and Johnson), Food and Hospitality (Tiger Brands), Advertising (Grey Phillips Group & FCB) and Global Event Management Industries having served at Group and Board level. He is a certified Whole Brain Practitioner and accredited MBTI facilitator. He is the CEO of a company called G3 Lifestyle Management Network Pty (Ltd), registered in 2004. G3 LMN holds a license agreement with FIFA, and has activated Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifier events for nine African Countries in Durban between 2005 and 2009. During the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup in South Africa, G3 LMN facilitated the first 3D activation for Sony Japan in Nelson Mandela Square Sandton. G3 LMN has also assisted FIFA globally with Beach Soccer World Cup activations in Rio, Dubai, Marseilles and Ravenna between 2007 and 2011.
