The CMO Council is dedicated to high-level knowledge exchange, thought leadership and personal relationship building among nearly 6,000 senior marketing decision makers controlling more than $300 billion in annual marketing spend worldwide. With a high-profile presence in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, the CMO Council's expansion into Africa is fitting given the region's extraordinary economic and technological boom. Acting as a conduit for knowledge exchange between marketers in the Gulf region and North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and MENA the CMO Council Africa will look to share global best marketing practices between business and community cultures, learn from our colleagues about the marketing challenges and opportunities they face, and to continue to expand the scope of our dialogue around the critical importance of marketing in an increasingly more interconnected global economy. |

Wits Business School Offering Masters of Management in Strategic Marketing
Wits Business School will be offering a new Masters programme in Strategic Marketing from January 2012. The Degree is a two year part-time academic programme, with a combination of course work (50%) and a dissertation in marketing (50%). The course is designed for students who have studied marketing at the undergraduate level, and wish to further their studies in advanced business and marketing concepts. More information »

Members should have at least 15 years of marketing experience and have held executive management positions at new venture, emerging growth or established enterprise organizations. Nominees must have demonstrated marketing prowess, a proven track record of accomplishment, and leadership in evangelizing marketing and branding practices. |
